The Cycle of Poverty and Disability

Disability & Poverty are Linked in a Vicious Cycle

If you have a disability, there is a higher probability that you will live in poverty and if you live in poverty, there is an increased likelihood that you may have, or at some point in your life, have a disability. This is one of the primary reasons we focus on low and middle-income countries.

The cycle:

Lack of Access:

to clean water, proper sanitation,

healthcare. Increased conflict &

violence. Deficits in human rights.

Lack of Opportunity:

to education, employment,

advocacy. Often face vulnerability,

discrimination, & isolation.

An organization you can trust.
